Before joining The Retail Connection, Kaup worked for over 20 years as the Director of AP at Zale Corporation. Previously, he was Test Chip's Controller and Avnet's Director of AP.

Kaup holds a Bachelor's of Business Administration in Accounting from the University of Houston.
