Matt Wilson

Matt Wilson is a Managing Director for the Investment division of The Retail Connection. After starting in 2005 with The Retail Connection on the brokerage side, he transitioned to the Development and Acquisition team where he has spent the last 14 years.

He played a vital role in developments including the 925,000 SF Arlington Highlands project which was voted Best New Retail Development in DFW in 2006, Village on the Parkway, a 380,000 SF winner of the Best Redevelopment Project in 2012, and his current project The Village at Cumberland Park, a 700,000 SF project in Tyler, Texas.

The Retail Connection awarded him with "Best Investment" for The Village at Cumberland Park project in 2013, and the "Cornerstone" award in 2015, an award given to an individual that serves as a critical building block for the company.

Wilson holds a Texas Real Estate License and is an active member of International Council of Shopping Centers and The Real Estate Council, including a member of TREC's Associate Leadership Class (ALC) in 2014.
